We want this year’s Carnival to be just as amazing as the years in the past but we can’t do that without YOU! Please consider sparing an hour or 2 of your time to help volunteer at the carnival.

Volunteers will be scheduled to take tickets at attractions & games, serve food and take tickets in the concession stand, serve candy in the candy bar, or help with items such has the hair spray (dye) station.

We appreciate your help and couldn’t put on a successful carnival without you!

We are gearing up for the 10th Annual Shadycrest Carnival! This year the Carnival will be held on March 25, 2017 from 11:00am-3:00pm. The Carnival Committee is focused on raising money to add sustainable flooring to the covered playgrounds. Our goal is set high so we need YOU! Look out for flyers coming home with your student for t-shirt orders, ticket orders, and other important information. Visit the Carnival tab above for more information.

Want to make a difference in a student’s life? Become a mentor! No special degree or skills are required — just a heart for students and 30 minutes a week. After filling out mentor application and volunteer background check application, attend one mentor training session prior to being matched with a student.

Don’t forget Box Tops are due This Friday, October 14th! Be sure to get them turned in to your student’s teacher.

Stop by Menchies on Tuesday, Sept 27th from 3:00-8:00pm and support Shadycrest!

Mention Shadycrest and 15% will be donated to Shadycrest Elementary.

September 23, 2016 is Shadycrest’s night to help out the Pearland Oilers and volunteer to work in the concession stand. Volunteers are asked to be there from 6:00pm-9:30pm. Training will be provided upon arrival. Shadycrest needs at least 10 volunteers to work.
